Terral
With body, complexity and character
DESCRIPTION
Terral is a mixture of Syrah, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The soil composition in the vineyard is a mixture of clay and limestone. The 2009 vintage is characterised by a wet spring and a very hot, dry summer. As a result, production was reduced, but it gave very concentrated grapes. The grapes were carefully selected in the vineyard and harvested by hand in small boxes. The wine remained in French oak barrels for 16 months.
TASTING NOTE
A dark ruby colour with touches of purple. An intense bouquet of ripe fruit, like blackberries and blueberries, together with cedar and tobacco. In the mouth it is structured and well-balanced, with concentrated ripe fruit flavours and notes of spices. Long finish.
